Beef goulash is a hearty and warm beef dish with assorted vegetables and seasonings.

This dish is perfect for winter and can be enjoyed by the whole family.

INGREDIENTS

  • Beef chunks

  • Onions

  • Carrots

  • Potatoes

  • Chicken broth

  • Green pepper

  • Mushrooms

  • Garlic

  • Ginger

  • Brown sugar

  • Tomato paste

  • Tomato purée

  • Black pepper

  • Onion powder

  • Chicken spice

  • Portuguese spice

  • Potato spice


COOKING & PREPARATION

  1. Preheat your oven to 200• C.

  2. Wash your beef and pat dry with a paper towe. Add it to your casserole pan Or baking tray. Make sure the trey is greased with olive oil.

  3. Season your beef with all your spices expect the potato spice. Mix well.

  4. Add your vegetables to the same pan and season with potato spice.

  5. In a bowl, add your chicken broth, tomato paste, tomato purée, garlic, ginger and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix well, taste and adjust if you need to.

  6. Pour your mixture into the casserole dish and cover with foil. Make sure you beef and vegetables are submerged.

  7. Bake covered for an hour and bake uncovered for another hour and 30 minutes. Keep in the oven until sauce thickens.

  8. Serve immediately.
