CREAMY LEMON BUTTER CHICKEN

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs

  • Lemons

  • Schweppes lemonade

  • Butter

  • Garlic

  • Chicken stock

  • Cream

  • Thyme

  • Black pepper

  • Chicken spice


Cooking and Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200 •C.

  2. Place chicken thighs in a bowl, season with chicken spice, salt and pepper.

  3. On medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter.

  4. Add the chicken, skin side down, and brown for 3-4 minutes. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.

  5. Place the chicken in your baking pan.

  6. Return the pan to the heat and add 1 tablespoon butter.

  7. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.

  8. Stir in the chicken stock, heavy cream, Schweppes lemonade, lemon juice, and parsley. Stir to fully combine.

  9. Pour the sauce over the chicken and bake for 25 minutes or at least until the chicken is cooked through.
