CREAMY STUFFED CHICKEN BREASTS

Who doesn’t love stuffed chicken? Chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese and spinach is a classic combo. But this creamy stuffed chicken breast recipe has a little twist.

The chicken is stuffed with mushrooms, baby spinach and of course cream cheese, then baked in chicken broth and fresh cream for that extra flavor and extra creaminess! If you found stuffed chicken breasts basic then this recipe will 100% change your mind. TRY IT OUT NOW!

INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken breasts

  • Baby spinach

  • Cream cheese

  • Mozzarella

  • Black pepper

  • Butter

  • Garlic

  • Onion powder

  • Portuguese chicken spice

  • Mushrooms

  • Italian herb seasoning

  • Chicken stock

  • Fresh cream

  • Dried parsley


Cooking and Preparation

  1. Slice your mushroom and season with salt, pepper and herb seasoning.

  2. Melt butter in a pan, add garlic and sauté your mushrooms.

  3. While your mushrooms are cooking, wash your baby spinach and drain well.

  4. Transfer your cooked mushrooms to a bowl and set aside.

  5. Add your spinach to same pan and sauté until wilted.

  6. Mix your mushrooms, spinach and cream cheese to make your filling.

  7. Wash your chicken breasts and remove excess fat. Pat dry with a paper towel.

  8. Butter your chicken breasts by making an incision on the side. See video below for illustration.

  9. Season your chicken with Portuguese chicken spice, pepper, onion powder and dried parsley.

  10. Once your chicken is seasoned, add your filling and transfer to a deep baking tray.

  11. Pour chicken broth and cream over your chicken. About 1/2 cup of each.

  12. Finish off with grated mozzarella cheese and bake for 30 minutes or until your chicken is cooked through.

  13. Serve immediately.
