BRAISED LAMB NECK CHOPS

Ingredients
Lamb neck chops
Fresh thyme
Worcestershire sauce
Soy sauce
Honey
Tomato paste
Black Pepper
Salt
Carrots
Potatoes
Garlic
Measurements
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 soy sauce
1/3 Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon parsley
Cooking & Preparation
Preheat oven at 250•C
Chop potatoes and carrots. You can chop them up in cubes or wedges it’s all up to you.
In a medium mixing bowl add; soy, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, honey and 1/2 cup of water. Mix well
Add your carrots and potatoes to your roasting tray and season with dried parsley.
Season your lamb with salt and pepper and place on top of your vegetables.
Chop up some garlic and add to your dish. Amount of garlic is dependent on you.
Pour sauce mixture over the lamb. Make sure it is about half way up the roasting pan. If it’s not enough make more.
Finish off with fresh thyme
Cover with aluminum foil and cook for 45 minutes.
Remove the foil and cook for another 30 minutes or until the lamb is your desired doneness.
