GARLIC BUTTER POTATO WEDGES

Why should you keep potato skins?


Potatoes may be starchy but they do have health benefit, especially when you keep the Skin on. They are high in fiber and help improve your metabolism. Potatoes are an important part of our diet and can help with your weight loss journey.


So make sure you keep your skin on, plus they give an amazing earthy flavor that takes the meal to another level.


Ingredients

  • Garlic

  • Butter

  • Potatoes

  • Potato spice

  • Parsley

Cooking & Preparation

  1. Wash your potatoes and remove all impurities.

  2. Slice your potato in half on the longer side and again into 3 or 4 wedges.

  3. Once your wedges are sliced, transfer them to a non stick baking tray or line your tray with baking/parchment paper.

  4. Season your wedges with potato seasoning. My go to potato seasoning is Ina paarmans potato season but any seasoning will do. Set your wedges aside.

  5. In a bowl, add melted butter, diced garlic and parsley. Mix well and pour over your wedges.

  6. Bake for about 45 minutes or until the wedges are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
