POTATO BAKE

Ingredients

  1. Potatoes

  2. Unsalted butter

  3. Fresh cream

  4. Cheddar cheese

  5. Parmesan cheese

  6. Dried parsley

  7. Dried sweet basil

  8. Salt

  9. Black pepper


Cooking & Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 230•C

  2. Slice your potatoes into thin round pieces. Try not to make the slices too thin.

  3. Do the same with your onion.

  4. Once your potato slices are ready, season with salt, pepper, parsley and basil.

  5. Use butter to grease the baking tray. Make sure every inch of the pan is covered.

  6. Transfer your potatoes and onions to the baking tray.

  7. Pour fresh cream over your potatoes. Pour as much as you want. The more you add the creamier the dish.

  8. Finish off with grated cheddar and Parmesan cheese.

  9. Cover with foil and pop in the oven.

  10. Cook for about 30 minutes and uncover the potatoes.

  11. Cook for another 30 minutes or until the potatoes are soft enough.
